WE HAVE A BABY GIRL!

We have a beautiful baby girl! She was born Monday and weighed 9 lbs. and 1 oz. She is such a joy! We arrived home on Wednesday. So I have been out of touch all week. I have not checked email or the blog, just caught up on all of your comments.

We have a problem however, our baby girl has jaundice and it is pretty severe, the numbers kept climbing and her body was not taking in nourishment. She was eating almost constantly and basically starving at the same time (as a result of the jaundice). She is on a bilirubin light bed 24 hours a day. We have a home health nurse that comes once a day to check her. Last night her numbers escalated quickly and they were considering hospitalizing her. We prayed over her all night and read scriptures (taped them to the walls around her and prayed them) Glory to God, when the nurse came this am her numbers had dropped some and they are giving her another day at home! Praise the Lord. We are on a very rigourous schedule of feedings and care, so I have been confined to my room with her and that is just where I want to be. :-)

We are praying that her body will be healed and whole very quickly as I only get to hold her for 10 minutes every 2 hours. Mommy is wanting to snuggle her more. My husband and other children do not even get the 10 minutes, so we are all ready for this to pass.

Please pray for our beautiful girl. Her name is Ella Sophia Croft. We are believing that God is working on her right now.

Thank you,
Tiffany

Congratulations on the birth of your baby. You did not look like you was carrying a baby almost 10 lbs. I will continue to pray for you and your baby. Thank you for sharing with me. I like the name Ella Sophia.

Sparkles *smile*

Thank you for all of the congratulations! We are so thrilled with our little bundle. She has been such a ray of sunshine for our family!

She is doing much better and is off of the light bed (for the jaundice) finally. After a week of that, I am so glad to be able to hold and cuddle her! Her levels continue to go down and we are praising the Lord for healing her little body.
She had her two week check up yesterday and is doing great!

Thank you for all of your prayers for our family! Much appreciated and we felt every one as it gave us strength and quick healing.

I have not been as attentive to the blog, I am sure you can all understand why. However, I have still been in much prayer over it and know that it is all in God's hands (where it belongs.

Thank you

DARROL LOUIS GILLARD CHANGED HIS NAME TO DARRELL LEWIS GILYARD ON OCTOBER 28, 1998, PRIOR TO BECOMING MARRIED TO TENISE WILLIAMS.

I WONDER IF THE OLD DARROL GILLARD HAS SOME SHENANIGANS LISTED UNDER THE OLD NAME?!

Congrats!!!

WhileI do not want to downplay jaundice, I want to encourage you while treating your baby.

All four of our children were treated with the lights and although it is exhausting and tries your patience if you just do as instructed you family will be on it's way within a week or two.

Good luck and again congrats!!!

Anon 9:12AM I'm not sure if you're being deliberately dishonest (but I think you are) his name was Darrell Gilyard as far back as 1991and before according to the Dallas Morning News. Glad you're having fun with this we'll see how fun it continues to be. If this is Darrell, the time has come that you will want to change your name in truth.
