Darrell still believes he is invincible. He is still talking to people and making plans to move to Gwinnett county (Atlanta, Georgia) to "start a church there". He believes that they need a good Bible believing church there according to sources. While we wait to see if he is ever going to pay for his crimes against children, and immorality involving many women, he is making plans for his next church. He has done this every time he has been caught. He boldly makes plans for his next church as if no one can touch him. And at every church there have been victims, since the 1980's. And some people are still questioning whether or not he has a problem.
This time the legal system is involved, so he has hired one of the best criminal defense attorneys in the State of Florida to defend him. This attorney is known for getting criminals off on technicalities.
Watch out Gwinnett County!!
The hearing is coming up, we will see what our justice system has to say about his plans.

Why do you care what his plans are?
I really feel sorry for your husband.
Tiffany, keep at it. It is sad that people want to ignore this issue. The church is supposed to be a safe haven! Your husband should be proud of you for caring and being honest with everyone. I value what you are doing and I'm sure the people who are afraid to speak up do to. Be encouraged because God has you covered and he's exposing those who think that they can keep getting away with this mess.
Thank you anonymous 10:58. I appreciate the encouragement. My husband supports this 100%. The blog was actually his idea and he helped me create it and helps to maintain it. I am thankful to have a husband who stands for the truth with me. I am also thankful that he is supporting constructively in a Godly way. Outside of prayer and God's guidance, humanly he would really rather have a face to face with Darrell for all that he has done to these women and girls. Thankfully he is submitted to the Holy Spirit. Pray for him also as he deals with all of this as he gets tired of seeing hateful comments towards me because he truly is proud of me. I wouldn't do it if I did not have his blessing.
I'm so glad your husband is allowing you to maintain this blog. It's all good gossip to me! Thanks to you and your sources!!!
Hi Tiffany, Do not stop. People need to know about this predator.
Now, he is going to my old hometown. It is ashame that people think his behavior is ok or acceptable.
Sparkles
Keep going Tiffany. Sounds like we have some Shiloh members on here being ugly. It should be NO different in the black church ... God's Word is GOD'S WORD period.
One thing that has come out of this is that I am seeing the true hearts of people. I was told last night by someone that she did not care what he did that if he just says he's sorry, she'd welcome him back. My stomach turned as I asked God to please help me!
Since he is not willing to repent of his sin, turn from it, acknowledge it, apologize for it and be a man and take the responsibility for what he's done, I think we need to keep track of where he is and warn his "future" church. If they decide to keep him in spite of what he's done, then so be it. But, they deserve to know. If he were God's true man, he would do the right thing and humbly resign from all Pastorial duties. He has no business overseeing Jesus' Church. Tiffany, I applaud you for your blog. I'm with you girl!
What's going to be different this time around is that he is not going to another church, he plans to be the founder of his OWN church which means he can make the rules and no one can kick him out! i would imagine he is tired of getting put out.
You're right about one thing, this is a good source for gossip.
Hi Tiffany,
You are more than welcome. I am still trying to understand the mentality of people who don't care about a Pastor's background (as long as they say I'm sorry for what they have done .. this is pathetic). Would anyone allow a known child molester to take care of their children as long as he or she said they were sorry? I don't think so! If anyone has issues they better deal with them before their life is ruined. God is not pleased when any of us refuse to deal our issues and correct our behavior. I am married to a pastor and I cover him in prayer all the time. I'll say this, if I found out that he did any of what we are dealing with on this blog... I'd call the police. Again, keep at it. This attitude of we are not to judge is insane when it comes to molestation and adultery. A Pastor is not God and he can't do anything that he wants to. Enough already. Again, be encouraged because the truth needs to be told and this mess must stop! I support you 100% God is going to take care of this... just watch ... it may appear to be slow in coming but trust me... the real judgement is coming!
It's easy to show compassion for those who haven't wronged us but a true sign of Christianity is when when we can show forgiveness AND compassion for those who have hurt us. Tiffany, it's not your responsibility to make sure Gilyard is punished for his sins. God will tkae care of that. However, it is your responsibility to love your brother....God instructs us to do so.... and the last time I checked He didn't put any stipulations on that command.
hello, mrs. croft:
i am a former member of shiloh (left j-ville years ago). reading about darrell gilyard is heartbreaking, but not completely shocking. as i attempt to understand all of the information on this awful subject, can you shine a little light for me, please? how do you know that darrell gilyard (i refuse to call him pastor) is trying to start a church in atlanta. i have MANY friends/family there and quite frankly, this concerns me. keep up the good work.

You are a sick person.
You say:
"Tiffany, it's not your responsibility to make sure Gilyard is punished for his sins. God will take care of that."
No, GOD WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THAT. It IS up to victims and the supporters of victims to make sure Gilyard is punished, is humiliated, is disgraced, and is shamed into never showing his face behind the sacred desk again. Its up to people to go into his church, if he ever does, and stand up in the middle of his sermon screaming: ADULTERER, ADULTERER, GET OUT OF GOD'S PULPIT. It is up to good Christian people like Tiffany and others to expose, to shine the light on people like Gilard...its up to people like Tiffany to find out where Gilyard is, ANNOUNCE FROM THE MOUNTAINTOPS TO THAT COMMUNITY, to picket outside his new church, to spread the word to unsuspecting people, about what a demon Gilyard is. God doesn't own any news agencies. Its up to the news reporters to follow Gilyard to wherever he goes, write a story in the local paper exposing his past deeds.
God will not intervene necessarily and stop Gilyard from preying on youg women again. For you to say such a thing makes me, well, quite ill. For years, and years, people at Trinity said the same exact thing..."God will take care of it" When all the while God was watching...GOD WAS WATCHING....as weak-knee'd, milk-toast, pussy-footing preachers and laypeople afraid of rocking the Trinity boat stood silently by why Bob Gray molested boys and girls.
Here's a news flash ANON: God wants Tiffany to do His good work regarding Gilyard.
And Tiffany you are doing God's work, don't listen to the kooks.

I know this because even before the arrest, he was telling people(who were telling me) that he was moving to Atlanta. Even now he is still talking about it. He is making plans to start his own church and is looking for supporters. He began to look into this and call people looking for support as soon as he stepped down from Shiloh.
This should be shocking, but sadly it is just the way he operates. He has done this every time, proof that he has no remorse or shame for all that he has done. That is one of the saddest points of this, not only the victims but the fact that he just won't stop.

Thank you for saying what you felt led to say. However, the very fact that I do "love my brother" and by nature I am a very compassionate person, I love people enough to try to make sure no one else is hurt by this man. If I stand by and do nothing, and find that one more girl is hurt by him simply because they trusted and did not know of his past crimes, then how would that be showing love to them?
How about the parents of these young girls, if they had just known of his past, they would have NEVER allowed their daughters to be alone with him. They have been merciful with me because they have every right to point the finger at me and say "Why did you not warn everyone when he came here?" I carry a huge burden for that. I wish I would have taken out a newspaper article or a news interview, anything to warn them. But the Deacons who sought him out and hired him already knew! They were warned, they just kept it from the people.
I am going to do my job now however, no matter the cost, to warn people from this point on. And I now have so many to stand with me. God's judgement for him is coming (this possibly is a part of that, exposing him) but God does use people here on earth as well to stand up for Him and His people. There are martyrs who die every day for standing up for their beliefs in God and their right to those beliefs. God does not call a man to preach to destroy the sheep, but to build them up, teach them and lead them to a better understanding of who He is. That is not what this preacher has done while he destroyed lives and families, including grown women he had affairs with destroying their homes as well. All while "being their pastor".
What about accountability?
I believe that I have to forgive him his sins, and I have, but the Bible also calls him to "sin no more", he has not chosen that scripture nor has he asked any of us to forgive him, including the mothers and fathers whose girls he abused. If he had even done just that (ask forgiveness and been ashamed of himself) we would have an entirely different conversation.
PREACH TIFFANY! Some people need to wake up! I wonder if they would feel the same way if it were one of their family members. I don't think so.
Why don't we just forgive everybody and stick our heads in the sand! Wake up everybody!!!! Enough is enough with Stupidity in the church.
Anonymous that posted on January 30at 3:21 pm. Go back and read the ENTIRE bible. God never tolerated mess and yes He and we are to forgive but that doesn't mean that we are to keep quiet when a person continues to do the same thing and hurt-destroy lives (refusing to change). There are requirements for being a Pastor. Ongoing acts of adultery and child molestation are not acceptable... I don't care how you try to present it. My Pastor used to say you better elimate your negative behavior before it elminiates you. If you really stop and think about all of this, do you think that God is pleased and thinks that this ongoing behavior/sin is acceptable? PLEASE....
Not all shiloh members are obtuse although many, many are. Many continue to go there without missing a beat not realizing the leadership there is dangerous and bears some fault. i personally no longer go there after eleven years because although gilyard is no longer there the leadership that allowed this predator to prey on his prey still remains and i am not okay going to a church where leaders lack this kind of intergrity. A deacon said to the Times-Union they had already decided (long overdue decision)to take action against gilyard when he was arrested but admitted that their decision did not include his dismissal. I absolutely believe that what is being said about him is true. The deacon also said that the committee did not have the power to fire him only the church members could do that. Well, if the church had ever been given pertinent information about him then we would have been equipped to make a vote. How come people with the sole responsibility of removing him were never given information about him? No wonder he had no accountability in place. Interesting that church members were not given background information on gilyard's past and a ballot to vote on whether to bring him here but this same body of uninformed members, unbeknownst to them are the only ones to rid him from in the midst. At least if members were aware of gilyard's weaknesses and unwise enough to let him come to jacksonville then a big sum of people would be alerted if he started the same shenanigans here. Safeguards could have been put in place such as no closed door, one-on-one couselling sessions with him, etc. and he would have had to agree to this beforehand prior to coming if he were truly contrite and repentent of his wrong behavior. These rigors make him accountable and keep people safe. p. patterson is guilty too but I agree with him when he came to finally say gilyard should not be in anyone's pulpit again. PEOPLE!! preaching does not overshadow this man's weakness. And let's get real he's a good speaker-there's a big difference between that and a good preacher. A good preacher doesn't pilfer his flock for sex. Thank God our legal system is attempting to stop him. It is only when people come forward who have had untoward things happen to them like tiffany and the mothers of these minors and the multitude of others that you must begin to formulate truths about a person whether you like it or not. I knew i would not go back to shiloh if they allowed gilyard to continue but after praying about this issue i knew i wasn't going back altogether. I am sad for the ones who have come to harm by gilyard and sad for him. The only time he's ever said any thing to me is when he welcomed me after i joined the church and i said thank you. I suppose that's how it's done in big chuches (this was my first really big church) it was fine with me, so I did not know gilyard after eleven years. People from smaller churches won't understand this but most members of shiloh know your deacon is in essence your "pastor" and the ones who don't know this yet will soon understand it. I am actively prayerfully looking for a chuch (don't think it will be mega.) I also have a fourteen year old daughter and am tangibly horrified at the thought of what he is accused of and disgusted.
Tiffany, may God bless you and your family and all the others who have been hurt spiritually, emotionally or physically by gilyard and others who have abused their roles.
To Formerly:
Very well said!
Let's not forgot, God uses people to get His will done! Tiffany and anyone else who he uses to expose His elect is doing His will. Don't confuse doing His will with unforgiveness. Most people have this idiotic thinking of we should forgive and move on. Well unfortunately the law of the land has been broken and he must pay. If he doesn't - every saved, born again person behind bars should be released. God provides a way of escape when indulging in sin, however he did not use the escape route, however he had a CHOICE! If it were your child, you'd be singing a different tune about his guilt.
Tiffany, just remember what i said,no matter where he goes or where i see him,i will call him out!I will stand right in front of his church or right in front of his face and tell everyone i can what a sick, child molesting pervert that he is!HE IS NOT GOD,therefore I have no fear of him.Tiffany this mother does not blame you she blames the church!Unfortuneitly for mr.gilyard he messed with the wrong mothers' baby,I will not let this just go away, not after the hurt he has caused my family!Your doing a good thing here, keep him on blast,as i will do the same!
"Why do care what his plans are?"Evil men prosper, because the good people do nothing".Tiffany you continue this God ordained task to stop this very evil man from ever assuming another pastoral position again.May the courts do what weak and cowardly church leaders not do,and that's stopping Darrell Gilyard from hurting anymore people aspecially women and children. And please let us remember the men invovled in the lives of these women and girls because they suffer emotionally as well.
To anon at 1:32 am:
We will stand together!
To Pastor H:
Thank you. And thank you for acknowledging the men as well. He has hurt entire families, not just the actual victims. They are hurting to.
To: Pastor Rod H.
AMEN! Please keep posting, and thank you for encouraging Tiffany!
